A fine quality Anglo Indian knee hole partners desk dating from the time of the Raj with six drawers and one cupboard to each side, this desk has very unusual recessed drawer pulls turned into solid mahogany drawer fronts, the desk is fitted with Hobbs and Co F1 locks off set to allow for the knobs. The desk is constructed from solid timber and the old dark brown skiver with its well used appearance only adds to the look of this piece. Each of the two pedestal cupboards have one adjustable shelf, the desk can be assembled with nine drawers to one side and both cupboards to the other. This is one of the best quality desk we have seen for a long time and needed very little restoration to make it a beautiful piece. Complete with two new keys.
